Boring (Day 190)

March 12, 1938, Nazi Germany invades Austria at Anschluss. Also, in 1956, the DOW Jones closes above 500 for the first time in history (at 500.24). In 2011, analysts reported a nuclear meltdown occurred at the Fukushima I Nuclear Power Plant; a state of emergency is declared. Today, in 1945, Anne Frank was killed in the Bergen-Belsen Death camp. Clearly, there are a lot of important things that happened today in history. Unfortunately, nothing fun or exciting happened to me, which is unfortunate because I was hoping I could be in headlines J but that doesn’t seem to be happening anytime soon.
